App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how JENCO LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), the owner and developer of Rapid Vent Calculator, collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Rapid Vent Calculator mobile application (the "App").

What the App does not collect

The App does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any patient information. All calculations happen on your device. The height, weight, and sex you enter, and the results the App calculates, are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Information stored only on your device

So the App works the way you expect, it keeps a small amount of information on your device, such as whether you have accepted the User Agreement, your Acceptance ID (described below), your light or dark mode choice, and the most recent patient entry (height, weight, and sex) so you can resume it. The saved patient entry expires after two hours and is deleted when you leave the results screen or start a new patient. We do not receive this information. It is removed if you uninstall the App.

Information the App sends to us

Agreement acceptance record. When you tap "I Agree" on the User Agreement, the App sends one record to our database, hosted by Google Cloud Firestore. The record contains:

• a randomly generated identifier created by the App for your installation (the "Acceptance ID"). It is not your name, phone number, or hardware identifier. You can view it at any time on the App's About screen;
• the version of the User Agreement you accepted;
• the App version and platform (iOS or Android); and
• the date and time of acceptance.

We use this record only to document that the User Agreement was accepted and which version was accepted. A new record is sent if you accept an updated version of the agreement.

Crash and stability diagnostics. The App uses Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service, to send reports when the App crashes or encounters an error. These reports include technical information such as the error and stack trace, device model, operating system version, available memory and storage, App version, and installation identifiers assigned by Firebase. They do not include anything you entered into the App or any calculated results. We use them only to find and fix defects. The App does not use advertising, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

Information you choose to share

If you use the App's "Report an issue" option, your email app opens a message to us that includes the App version, your platform, and your Acceptance ID, plus anything you choose to write. The App's feedback option opens a message that includes the App version. Nothing is sent unless you send the email, and we use it only to respond to you. If you share a results snapshot, the image is created on your device and sent only to the destination you choose; we do not receive a copy.

Service providers

We use Google (Firebase and Google Cloud Firestore) to store acceptance records and process crash reports. Google may process this information in the United States and other countries under its own privacy terms. App downloads, updates, and store reviews are handled by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or trade any information, and we disclose it to others only if required by law or in response to a valid legal request.

Retention

We keep acceptance records for as long as the App is offered and for a reasonable period afterward, because they document acceptance of the User Agreement. Google keeps Crashlytics crash reports and their associated identifiers for 90 days before removing them.

Deleting your data (Rapid Vent Calculator app)

To ask JENCO LLC to delete the data the Rapid Vent Calculator app has sent to us:

1. Open the App and tap the info (i) icon at the top right to open the About screen.
2. Find your Acceptance ID and tap the copy icon next to it.
3. Email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request" and paste your Acceptance ID into the message.
4. We will delete the matching records and reply to confirm.

What is deleted: every agreement acceptance record tied to that Acceptance ID, including the Acceptance ID itself, the agreement and App versions, platform, and acceptance dates.

What is kept, and for how long: we keep nothing else tied to your Acceptance ID. Crash reports are not linked to the Acceptance ID, so we cannot find them individually; Google deletes them automatically after 90 days. Information stored only on your device is removed when you uninstall the App.

We need the Acceptance ID because the App does not collect your name, email, or anything else that identifies you, so there is no other way to find your records. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your information, and you can exercise them by contacting us.

Security

Information sent by the App is encrypted in transit, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The App is a clinical reference tool for healthcare professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

Log data

When you visit the Website, our hosting provider automatically collects certain information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, and the date and time of your visit. • Essential storage. We store your cookie consent choice in your browser so we do not ask you on every visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on this page.
